Lake Tahoe

Unfortunately Lake Tahoe was in the middle of a whiteout! We struggled to get there from Yosemite, drove 60 miles on a direct road but had to turn back as the road was blocked. So we went via the interstate and the conditions were terrible. We arrived late in the afternoon with an empty fuel tank and couldn't even see the lake from our lakeside hotel! The joy of travel!
