BUENOS AIRES (ARGENTINA)
Buenos Aires is Argentina’s big, cosmopolitan capital city. Its centre is the Plaza de Mayo, lined with stately 19th-century buildings including Casa Rosada, the iconic, balconied presidential palace. We visited the neighbourhood of La Boca (The Mouth), a popular destination for tourists visiting Argentina, with its colourful houses and pedestrian street, the Caminito where tango dancers perform and tango-related memorabilia is sold.
