Kariega - Elephants Galore!
The second part of our Saturday afternoon drive involved tracking elephants. We followed them up a hill and on to their favourite waterhole, Eventually there were around 30 elephants in the group, including some little ones who stole the show!

The sandy colour is from the dusting of soil they use to get rid of insects and as a sunscreen.

It is amazing just how easily elephants can disappear into the bush !
