
ISLE OF MULL (& IONA)
The Isle of Mull or simply Mull is the second-largest island of the Inner Hebrides and lies off the west coast of Scotland in the council area of Argyll and Bute. Covering 875.35 square kilometres, Mull is the fourth-largest island in Scotland. Iona lies off the Ross of Mull on the western coast of Scotland. It is mainly known for Iona Abbey which was a centre of Gaelic monasticism for three centuries We spent a couple of days on a guided birdwatching tour, followed by a couple of days on our own.
