THE FARNE ISLANDS (NORTHUMBRIA)

The Farne Islands are a group of islands off the coast of Northumberland, England near Seahouses. The group has between 15 and 20 islands depending on the level of the tide. They form an archipelago, divided into the Inner and the Outer Group. They are home to an internationally significant breeding colony of seabirds particularly Puffins and also Atlantic grey seals.
