We began our month long tour of China in the sprawling capital Beijing where we stood in the vast Tiananmen Square before getting a guided tour of The Forbidden City, the old imperial centre. We also saw the Olympic Stadium, a jade factory, a circus show and a Hutong (an old area within the modern city) where we met a Mr Li who trains fighting crickets! We also vied a huge park that was once the Summer Palace of the Emperors.
